Viento Aliseo wines are sourced from Dominio de Punctum. Dominio de Punctum literally means "estate at the crossroads." This beautiful estate is located at the intersection of three cities: Cueca, Ciudad Real, and Albacete. The winery that also produces Viento Aliseo wines dates back to 2005. In the relatively short time since its founding, the winery has become the most awarded organic winery in Spain.

The grapes for this Viento Aliseo Cabernet Sauvignon Graciano are grown in La Mancha, a perfect region for producing organic wines. The vines are now 10 years old and produce beautiful grapes. This red wine is made from two specific vineyards that are perfectly suited to Viento Aliseo Cabernet Sauvignon Graciano: Finca el Fabian and Las Pedroñeras. The days are wonderfully warm in the vineyards, while the nights provide perfect cooling for the vines. This results in a calm and balanced growing season. When the grapes reach the correct ripeness, they are hand-harvested and then sent to the press. Both varieties are pressed separately. The vinification also takes place independently, after which the final blend is created. Finally, the wine is aged for 12 months in oak barrels for added depth and suppleness.
What does Viento Aliseo red wine taste like?
The end result? Excellent! The color is a beautiful dark ruby red. On the nose, we noted a broad bouquet of ripe aromas of dark fruits like plums, blackberries, and blackberries. These aromas are complemented by a hint of vanilla, spice, and a touch of cedar. That brings us to the taste: what a superb red wine, the Viento Aliseo Cabernet Sauvignon Graciano. A very soft and supple wine that possesses a pleasant power. Beautiful flavors of black fruits like blackberries and currants alternate with a hint of spice and a light touch of vanilla from the oak. The finish is smooth and mild, with a slight spicy note at the end.
