Viento Aliseo wines are sourced from Dominio de Punctum. Dominio de Punctum literally means "estate at the crossroads." This beautiful estate is located at the intersection of three cities: Cueca, Ciudad Real, and Albacete. The winery that also produces Viento Aliseo wines dates back to 2005. In the relatively short time since its founding, the winery has become the most awarded organic winery in Spain. One of these top organic wines is the Viento Aliseo Tempranillo Petit Verdot.
Organic top product from Dominio de Punctum
The grapes for this Viento Aliseo Tempranillo Petit Verdot are grown in La Mancha, a perfect region for producing organic wines. The vines are now 10 years old and produce beautiful grapes. This red wine is made from two specific vineyards that are perfectly suited for Viento Aliseo Tempranillo Petit Verdot. Why La Mancha? The days are wonderfully warm in the vineyards, followed by perfectly cool nights for the vines. This creates a calm and balanced growing season. When the grapes are ripe, they are harvested by hand at night, after which they are sent to the press. Both varieties are pressed separately. The grapes undergo a cold maceration, after which fermentation begins at a controlled temperature of 28 degrees Celsius. After this, the final blend is assembled. Once bottled, the wine is aged for a few more years in the Dominio Punctum cellars before the winemaker releases the bottles.
