This full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon grows on old vines several meters deep in the ground. This allows the grapes to draw sufficient strength from the soil, while also enjoying the finest climate Southern France has to offer. The Vignobles Vellas vineyards enjoy plenty of cool temperatures, resulting in a long growing season, giving the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes ample time to ripen at their own pace.

The winery also owns five distilleries in various regions of France. In these locations, they benefit from fantastic climates that the grapes thrive in. As soon as the harvest season begins, the grapes are hand-harvested in the early morning and then aged in oak barrels in the Vignobles Vellas cellars. During this period, the wine becomes round and powerful with a soft attack. On the nose, this translates into an initial burst of black and red fruit with light spice and a hint of oak. The palate of this Cuvée Prestige is both full and smooth, with initial black fruit complemented by pepper, vanilla, and licorice. What a delightful glass!
