A cheerful Prosecco Frizzante with a soft sparkle is an uncomplicated wine, yet its beautiful balance makes it very appealing. The winery produces premium Proseccos that are beloved worldwide, but this is one of its bestsellers. And it comes at a very attractive price.
The wines of Villa Sandi
The historic Villa Sandi winery, built in 1622, is synonymous with high-quality Prosecco. The Moretti Polegato family has owned the winery for generations. Their foundation lies in fine wines with a pleasant palate. The magnificent villa is located in the renowned Veneto wine region. The vineyards cover a total of approximately 86 hectares. The first vines were planted in 1900, and today the third generation is at the helm, proudly continuing the family tradition.
The Glera grape for this Prosecco is grown in a beautiful hilly area. The hills provide shelter, and the vines are deeply rooted in chalky soils with loam and clay. This terroir allows the Glera grapes to develop a unique character. The grapes are given the time to ripen in the ideal climate and are then carefully harvested. Because only the best is good enough. A gentle pressing follows in the winery. This is followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature. A second fermentation with selected yeasts follows, enhancing all the aromas. Fermentation is stopped when the required alcohol and sugar levels are reached.
The soft character of Villa Sandi Prosecco Frizzante
The Frizzante radiates a straw-yellow color in the glass. Your nose is captivated by a fresh and fruity aroma. The aromas are predominantly apple, balanced by floral notes. It has a fine, soft mousse that gives it a smooth character. An elegant Prosecco from the renowned, award-winning winery Villa Sandi. Serve it extra chilled on a lovely summer evening.
