Tommasi Amarone della Valpolicella Classico

This classic Amarone is aged for 30 months in large Slovenian oak and is known for its balance of power and elegance. Tommasi has been active since 1902 and owns vineyards in four Italian regions, but this remains their flagship wine. The grapes come from the Classico area around Pedemonte, on a mix of limestone and clay.
Grapes: Corvina, Rondinella, Corvinone, Oseleta
Alcohol: 15%

Zenato Amarone della Valpolicella Classico

Zenato combines traditional appassimento with modern precision. This wine is aged in oak for 36 months and develops notes of cocoa, black cherry, and spice. The family business was one of the first to invest in vineyards directly on Lake Garda, which provides a cooling influence.
Grapes: 80% Corvina, 10% Rondinella, 10% Oseleta & Croatina
Alcohol: 16.5%

Montresor Amarone della Valpolicella Satinata

An elegant Amarone in an iconic frosted glass bottle. Montresor uses grapes exclusively from high-altitude plots, which gives the wine freshness and structure. In 1892, the house was one of the first in Valpolicella to bottle its own grapes instead of simply supplying them to merchants.

Amaregis Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva

This Riserva is a powerhouse with layers of dried fruit, balsamic vinegar, and tobacco. Amaregis is a micro-producer with old family vineyards around Marano di Valpolicella, where the grapes are left to dry for an extended period before fermentation. Limited production per vintage.

Ca' Rugate Amarone della Valpolicella Punta 470

This Amarone comes from a single vineyard situated at an impressive 470 meters altitude: a rarity in Valpolicella. Thanks to this location, the grapes retain their freshness, resulting in a remarkably elegant Amarone with tension and layers. Ca' Rugate has been operating in the eastern part of the region for four generations and combines tradition with innovation, using concrete tanks for fermentation and large Slavonian oak barrels for aging.
Grapes: 45% Corvina, 30% Corvinone, 15% Rondinella, 10% other local grapes
Alcohol: 15%

Farina Amarone della Valpolicella Classico

Accessible yet complex, with notes of fig, raisin, and cocoa. Farina uses partially concrete fermentation tanks to naturally maintain a low temperature. A striking feature: the grapes for this wine dry on wooden racks in a natural drying shed without mechanical ventilation.
