Yalumba Museum Antique Muscat

Luxurious dessert wine. Deep tawny red in color. The aroma reveals notes of raisins, walnuts, and coffee. The Yalumba Antique Muscat is highly complex and has a constantly changing aroma. The flavor is sweet and powerful with a very long finish. The aftertaste reveals candied orange peel. This fortified wine exemplifies a 150-year-old Yalumba tradition. The grapes are harvested by hand late in the season. The wine is traditionally made in the same way as Port. Fermentation is stopped by the addition of pure alcohol. The Yalumba Antique Muscat is aged in French oak barrels for seven years.
