Yarden's tribute to its home, Katzrin, is nothing short of spectacular. Located in the heart of the Golan Heights, Katzrin is known as the unofficial capital of this majestic region. Besides its historical significance, with numerous archaeological discoveries testifying to its rich past, it is also the inspiration for Yarden's flagship cuvée: the Yarden Chardonnay Katzrin. This wine is a symbol of strength, character, and purity. It is a Chardonnay you won't soon forget, enchanting from the first to the last drop. Every year, we eagerly await the new vintage of this extraordinary wine.
Yarden's Pride and Joy
While Yarden is known worldwide for its impressive red wines, its white wines, particularly its Chardonnay, are equally remarkable. Through extensive research and investment, Yarden has created the ideal conditions for Chardonnay grapes in the Golan Heights. The result is the Yarden Chardonnay Katzrin, a masterpiece and the winery's flagship. Only the crème de la crème of Chardonnay grapes is selected for this Israeli white wine. After careful hand-harvesting, the wine undergoes fermentation in new French oak barrels, followed by a minimum of nine months of rest on the lees. This wine is bottled unfiltered, preserving its rich and complex character.
