With this Israeli red wine, Yarden once again proves its capabilities: producing high-quality wines. This Yarden Pinot Noir is the latest sensation from this beloved Israeli winery. It demonstrates Yarden's versatility and diversity as a winery. The Pinot Noir grape is inherently a rather headstrong grape. It takes a great deal of time, effort, and attention to create a successful wine from this exceptional grape. But if you give it enough attention, you reap a great reward. Yarden demonstrates that winemaking runs in its blood, because this wine is sublime, almost perfect. A beautiful glass of red wine, the likes of which many can only dream.

Exclusive Pinot Noir from Israel

This Pinot Noir from Yarden is certainly exclusive. Last year, we were only able to buy a few dozen bottles, because unfortunately, it was all gone after that. Unfortunately, we have to wait until the Yarden cellar master releases the new vintage. Fortunately, we can still enjoy the current vintage for a while. And that's a good thing, because this glass of wine is hard to beat. The vineyards for the Pinot Noir in this red wine are located in the Golan Heights, a beautiful area on the border of Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria. Despite the turbulent history of this region, the current climate is tranquil. The Pinot Noir grapes grow in the northernmost tip, known as Galilee. This is also the coolest part of Israel, something the Pinot Noir grapes love.

The taste and aroma of Yarden Pinot Noir

Harvesting is done manually; this ensures that only the finest Pinot Noir grapes ultimately make it into the wine. After pressing, the juice is aged for a full 16 months in French oak barrels. Yields are low, very low. But you get a lot in return. A blind taster can't distinguish Yarden Pinot Noir from a top Burgundy. Well, if that isn't a great compliment. Time to open a Yarden Pinot Noir. A grand, captivating aroma rises from the glass. Your nose is tickled by pleasant notes of raspberries, sour cherries, strawberries, and red roses. You feel a tingle in your nose; a hint of spice and smoke. You can hardly wait to take a sip. This Pinot Noir is bursting with delicate aromas. A tsunami of flavors hits your taste buds. You taste everything: roses, violets, red fruit, spices, oak, smoke, and fresh herbs. Full-bodied yet elegant. Indispensable for every Pinot Noir lover.
