De Stefani Winery is a true institution in the Veneto region. Since 1866, they have been astonishing friends and foes alike with their astronomical wines. It was Valeriano De Stefani who began cultivating vines on a small scale. Today, over a century and a half later and four generations later, De Stefani plays at the highest level of Italian viticulture. Alessandro De Stefani is currently in charge of the day-to-day management. By planting the vines well and paying close attention, De Stefani's red wines have already made a great impression. So, it was time for a new venture: a Prosecco Superiore!

A prosecco from Italy

Prosecco is the Italian equivalent of Champagne. This beautiful sparkling wine has conquered the Dutch consumer over the past twenty years. The region where Prosecco is permitted to be produced is in northern Italy. However, the best Prosecco wines still come from the region around Valdobbiadene, also known as the Prosecco capital of Italy. De Stefani has been active here for a century and a half and therefore has access to the most beautiful and old vineyards.
