The 2021 vintage in Margaux received a score of 88 points from Robert Parker and is considered above average to excellent. However, it was an irregular year with varying results, even among the very best wines.
The history of Mouton Cadet dates back to the mid-19th century, to 1853 to be precise. The story begins with Baron Nathaniel, who sold his Pauillac wines to the guests of his hotel. This winery was built up over many years. In the 1920s, the winery was taken over by his grandson: Baron Philippe de Rothschild. This name is incredibly well-known in the wine world. Thanks to my dedication and innovations, wine became available to a larger segment of the world's population by producing high-quality wines at a reasonable price.
