The family owns over 95 hectares of vineyards spread across several Quintas: Quinta da Abelheira, Quinta do Confradeiro, Quinta dos Muros, and Quinta do Portal. Portal's base is located near the town of Pinhão, in the heart of the port region. By growing the grapes in-house, the quality of the port is unparalleled. Significant investment is made in the vineyards to ensure the grapes have everything they need. The steep slopes allow the Moscatel grapes to enjoy sunshine, while also benefiting from a fresh breeze from the Douro River. This creates the perfect climate, a characteristic you can taste in the refined wine.

Only the usable bunches are harvested and processed into this Portal Moscatel Do Douro. During the fermentation process, wine alcohol is naturally added, preserving the freshness, vibrancy, and ripeness. All the beautiful aromas and flavors are preserved, and this Moscatel Do Douro is also known as the sweet of Portal.
