The vineyards of this spectacular winery are located in Alentejo. This vast area, roughly the size of the Netherlands, is a significant area. Besides viticulture, it boasts a significant olive grove. Furthermore, this region is one of the main producers of cork oak, the source of cork. Viticulture is a third important factor in this region. Since the mid-1980s, viticulture in this area has grown enormously. Thanks in part to the Quinta do Carmo winery, the popularity of these wines is growing throughout Europe. The winery itself has a staggering 1,000 hectares of its own vineyards, a vast area. By growing only indigenous grape varieties in its vineyards, Quinta do Carmo is incredibly important to Portuguese winemaking.

The Roepeiro, Antao Vaz, and Arinto grapes complement each other perfectly in this white wine. Roepeiro adds citrus and freshness. The Antao Vaz provides the necessary body, ensuring Quinta Do Carmo White never becomes too flat. Finally, the Arinto grape provides a pleasant acidity, a characteristic of Portuguese wines. The palate of Quinta Do Carmo White is dominated by citrus notes, along with hints of pineapple and mango.
