The origin, grapes and craftsmanship behind this wine.

What a wonderfully fresh rosé this Ferret is! The grapes used are mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with a touch of Merlot. These are grown in the finest vineyards in the heart of the Cotes de Gascogne. The warm sun gives this rosé plenty of fruitiness, while the fresh breeze provides balance and freshness. A vibrant aroma of ripe red fruit and a hint of citrus, with a refreshing balance on the palate.

Dominique Ferret is the owner of the small family estate Domaine de Guillaman in Gascony, located between Bordeaux and Toulouse. The vineyards are situated in southwestern France, where they primarily produce white wines. Ferret has extensive experience and is the sixth generation of the family to continue this tradition. His wines have a distinctive style and character and are consistently highly acclaimed. He works with the most modern equipment and vinification methods. Winemaker Dominique Ferret has his own modern winemaking method, overseeing the wine from harvest through vinification and aging using the most modern techniques. The white wines are also stored in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats at five degrees Celsius. The Rosé de Pressée from Ferret in Gascony proves just how good a rosé in the lower price range can be, thoroughly dispelling preconceptions. The wine is wonderfully fruity and has a pale pink color. Because the red grapes (Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot) are carefully pressed immediately after harvesting, the must doesn't have time to rest on the color-giving skins. This process, known as the "Pressée," produces fresh and light rosé wines. This makes the Rosé de Pressée from Ferret the ideal wine for warm spring days and, of course, summer. You could also call it the perfect "Swimming Pool Rosé."

With its bright pink and overwhelming fruity notes, this rosé is a true spring and summer dream. Delicate strawberry and cherry aromas, combined with fresh citrus notes, make you want to enjoy sunny days on the patio or at a picnic in the park without a care in the world. This French delicacy embodies pure harmony and therefore pairs perfectly with an aperitif and grilled meat.
