The extensive vinification process of Jean Claude Mas Mon Rose

Domaines Paul Mas was founded in 1892 and is still run by the founder's family. This winery has become a major player in the French wine industry, offering excellent wines at affordable prices. The winery's most recent project is the Jean Claude Mas 'Mon' wines. These wines are distinguished not only by the special grape varieties used but also by their striking bottles, which bring a smile to many a face. Jean Claude Mas Mon Rose uses the traditional vinification process. After harvest, the grapes are destemmed and immediately pressed using a pneumatic press. Each grape variety is vinified separately to preserve its specific characteristics. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 17 degrees Celsius with selected yeasts to develop the desired aromas and flavors. After fermentation, the wine is transferred to cement vats coated with epoxy resin, where it ages on its lees for 40 days. During this period, the wine is stirred regularly to preserve the expression and concentration of the fruit. This process creates a richer and creamier texture. Finally, the wine is blended and bottled to preserve its freshness and fruity aromas.

The Jean Claude Mas Mon Rose has a bright pink color and an elegant and intense nose. The aromas of fruit, particularly white peach and gooseberry, emerge sweetly, complemented by floral notes and a subtle hint of eucalyptus that add character and a refreshing touch.
