Jean-Claude Mas is considered a pioneer of Southern French wines and crafts everything with immense love. This red Mas Jean-Claude Mas Rouge Intense is also a very well-known wine from his hand. A wine that almost everyone considers enchanting, and it's no wonder it's often served as a house wine at fine restaurants. But that requires a whole life's work; it all begins in the old vineyards of Languedoc.

The composition of the Mas Jean Claude Mas Rouge Intense

Only the finest bunches and grape varieties are selected for this wine. This bottle contains no fewer than five grape varieties: Grenache Noir, Carignan, Cinsault, Merlot, and Syrah. Each contributes to this red wine and is planted in a limestone and clay soil. Because the vines have deep roots, they can easily absorb moisture from the soil, allowing the grapes to grow large. Once all the grape varieties have been harvested and vinified separately, the blend is assembled. Then, everything comes together in this red Mas Jean Claude Mas Rouge Intense.

The scent and taste of the Mas Jean Claude Rood

Rouge Intense is the only correct name. This blend is light garnet red in color with purple hues. The nose offers complex aromas of plums, raspberries, and woody notes that evolve into aromas of soft herbs. On the palate, this wine is fruity, rich, and round. Smooth and well-balanced, with fresh licorice notes. This wine can age for another two to three years. This wine pairs well with dishes of white meat, grilled meat, guinea fowl with fresh thyme, Spanish tapas, bruschetta with aromatic herbs, and soft and medium-bodied cheeses.
