Vintage Report
The 2020 vintage in Barolo scored 91 points in the Robert Parker Vintage Chart, indicating excellent quality. The wines are currently still youthful and tannic, making them ideal for further aging.
The rich history of Prunotto Barolo began with a modest cooperative, Cantina Sociale "Ai Vini delle Langhe." Despite the uncertain times and challenges, Alfredo Prunotto was undeterred. In 1904, he transformed this cooperative into an independent winery, named Prunotto. This decision sparked a wave of success, as Prunotto Barolo was immediately recognized as a wine of exceptional quality. When it was time for Alfredo to step back, the Antinoris saw the potential and took over the helm of this renowned winery. With their expertise, Prunotto Barolo reached new culinary heights.
