In the historic part of Puglia, we find the Cantine Paradiso winery. Angelo founded it in 1954 with the goal of producing wines that showcase the grape variety while also embracing Italian traditions. He succeeded, and today, Posta Piana wines are renowned worldwide. The old vineyards in Puglia, located around Cerignola, are producing excellent harvests. The fourth generation of the family is at the helm and continues to craft exquisite wines inspired by Angelo.

The old, thick trunks are planted in Puglia under the best conditions. This makes the climate perfect for growing top bunches. The warm sun can do its work and make the Negroamaro shine. Fortunately, the sea breeze also contributes to the cooling. This cooling is necessary for a calm and balanced growing process. Once the grapes have reached full ripeness, they are harvested entirely by hand. They are transported in small crates to Cantine Paradiso, where they are gently pressed.

Wood storage for the Posta Piana Negroamaro

This Posta Piana Negroamaro is partially aged for at least a year in oak barrels in the cellars of Cantine Paradiso. This allows the red wine to fully develop and mature. On the nose, this Posta Piana Negroamaro has hints of ripe cherries, balsamic vinegar, and spicy notes of vanilla and cinnamon. It has a full, soft, and velvety flavor. An intense and complex finish.
