The origin, grapes and craftsmanship behind this wine.

A refined white wine from South Africa, where the breathtaking vineyards provide the perfect habitat for the Sauvignon Blanc grape. This beloved and recognizable grape ripens perfectly here and develops unique characteristics.

Wildeberg Winery is located in the Stellenbosch region, known as one of the country's most renowned wine regions. Although relatively new, Wildeberg has quickly built a reputation for producing high-quality, characterful wines. Wildeberg prides itself on its dedication to producing wines that express the unique characteristics of the terroir and grape varieties. The winery takes a meticulous approach to winemaking, paying attention to every detail, from grape selection to vinification and aging. The winemaking process for Kleine Oranjerie Sauvignon Blanc is carried out with great care and precision to ensure the highest quality and expression of the grapes. First, the grapes are selectively harvested. They are then pressed in the winery, and the juice is transferred to stainless steel tanks. During fermentation, the natural sugars in the grape juice are converted into alcohol, developing the characteristic aromas and flavors of the Sauvignon Blanc grape. After fermentation, Kleine Oranjerie Sauvignon Blanc undergoes further aging to enhance its character and complexity.

Pouring Kleine Oranjerie Sauvignon Blanc reveals a bright, light yellow color that sparkles in the glass. The aroma is immediately inviting, with intense and expressive aromas that captivate the senses. Seductive notes of tropical fruit, such as juicy pineapple and ripe peach, are accentuated by refreshing citrus notes of lime and grapefruit. The wine reveals a perfect balance of fruity and invigorating acidity. The palate is treated to exotic fruits, such as passion fruit and peach, which blend harmoniously with the vibrant notes of lime and grapefruit. These vibrant flavors are supported by a delightful minerality, giving the wine a refreshing and lingering finish.
