Domaine Paul Mas, a winery rich in all the beauty France has to offer. This magnificent winery is one of the country's most renowned, and for good reason. With over 600 hectares of its own vineyards and an additional 1,312 hectares of vineyards owned by contracted winegrowers, there's a perfect place for every grape variety to grow. This diversity of vineyards, locations, and plantings allows Domaine Paul Mas to produce a wide range of exquisite wines at attractive prices. Something this fine winery can be more than proud of.
Beautiful blend from Paul Mas Vignes de Nicole
Another beautiful blend, this Paul Mas Vignes de Nicole Cabernet Sauvignon Syrah. What makes this red wine from Paul Mas so special is that the grapes come from very old vines in select vineyards. Because these vines are "vine"-aged, the yield is low but the quality is very high. These selected vineyards are planted in the perfect location, allowing all the factors for the grapes to mature smoothly. When the grapes are perfectly ripe, the winemaker will initiate the manual harvest. This harvest begins mid-night. This ensures the grapes are still dormant, minimizing damage during transport to the winery. Vinification takes place separately for both grape varieties, after which the final blend is made. The wine will mature for eight months in the Paul Mas cellars in French oak barrels. Some of these oak barrels are new, giving this delicious red wine some extra oomph. After bottling, the wine continues to mature in the bottle for several months before being released by the winemaker. And what a result this brings!A red wine you will never forget
This Paul Mas Vignes de Nicole blend is made from 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Syrah. A wine we'll never forget—that was our first impression. The beautiful, deep, dark red color with a black rim alone tantalizes the senses. This red wine has a lovely, ripe aroma of wood, green pepper, and hints of toast and spice. The flavor of this Paul Mas Vignes de Nicole Cabernet Sauvignon Syrah is truly superb, well-balanced with excellent structure. Present yet soft tannins. Numerous notes of black fruit, herbs, and a hint of caramel and pepper.Product details
