Lodi is known for its high-quality old Zinfandel vineyards. The grapes are harvested from various plots in this area, where the vines are between 35 and 80 years old. Thanks to the warm days and cool nights typical of this region, the grapes ripen perfectly. The large temperature differences between day and night ensure that the Zinfandel retains its freshness while still producing a powerful and full-bodied wine. After harvest, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and maturation in old whiskey barrels.
