Vintage Report

The 2022 vintage in South Australia (Barossa) has achieved an outstanding score of 96 points. The wines are of exceptional quality, but are currently still in a youthful stage with great potential for the future.
The old vines for this dry Riesling wine are planted in a unique Eden Valley, affectionately known as Wattle Brea because of the native trees that surround it. It's one of Langmeil's beloved vineyards, dedicated to capturing the best of the region and its diversity.

Balanced wines from Langmeil

Langmeil has a rich history dating back to 1842. Langmeil Winery is one of the leading wineries in the Barossa Valley. A true family business, it is managed by the Lindner family. Today, the sixth generation is at the helm. The winery's goal is to produce premium wines sourced 100% from the Barossa region using grape varieties that excel in the region. Chief Winemaker Paul Lindner now oversees the vinification process, paying particular attention to producing wines from individual vineyards. The entire process is meticulously executed to produce well-balanced wines with subtle complexity. Langmeils Riesling is harvested from mature vines growing on the ancient soils of the cooler Eden Valley. After harvest, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented at a cool temperature, resulting in a delicate and intense wine with good balance and crisp acidity, typical of the renowned Eden Valley region in the Barossa.

Enjoy this silky and light white wine

This Dry Riesling has a straw yellow color with green hues. Delicate aromas of lemon and apple emerge on the nose. Oriental spices, black tea, and vanilla complement the fruity notes of the bouquet. This silky and light white wine is light-footed and complex on the palate. With its rich fruit acidity, the Wattle Brae Riesling Barossa Eden Valley reveals itself to be exceptionally fresh and vibrant on the palate. On the finish, this white wine from the South Australian wine region finally inspires with good length. Hints of grapefruit and lemongrass reappear.
