Always silky smooth. A unique winemaker, so focused on terroir that work in the cellar and vineyard is kept to a minimum. That's a brilliant way to truly let the terroir and season shine through, but it also means the wine can vary greatly from one vintage to another. So far, I've always found it delicious, but you do have to be open to that surprise. If you're looking for more consistency, then look at Allendorf, for example.
