Batasiolo is a renowned Piedmont winery that produces Piedmont's most important wines from its vineyards, which are spread throughout Piedmont. This top producer annually produces some of Italy's finest red and white wines. The winery covers approximately 140 hectares of land in Piedmont. Along with Tuscany and Veneto, it is one of Italy's most important wine regions. Primarily high-quality red wines are produced here, including Barolo and Barbaresco wines made from the Nebbiolo varietal. But white wines also thrive here, especially those from the Chardonnay and Roero Arneis varieties. Moscato d'Asti is one of the few sparkling wines with the highest quality designation for Italian wines. The soil, climate, and location of the estates nestled among the hills create a wide range of noble, elegant wines. The grapes for this Chardonnay Langhe Vigna Morino are harvested by hand in early September. They are then destemmed, gently pressed, and cold macerated for 24 to 48 hours. Fermentation takes place in French oak barrels. Finally, the wine is aged on its lees in French oak barrels with periodic batonnage.

Langhe Vigna Morino has been aged in oak, giving it a full, creamy texture. The color is straw yellow with golden highlights. The aroma offers a beautiful, full bouquet of yellow and tropical fruit, along with abundant spice and vanilla. The palate is elegant and full, offering a beautiful array of honey, peach, vanilla, and a lovely woody and spicy note.
