San Nicolao Barbera d'Asti delivers exactly what you're looking for in a modern Barbera: deep color, ripe plum and cherry, and a juicy, inviting structure that immediately draws you in for a second sip.

Vineyards and region

The Barbera comes from the Piedmont region in the heart of Asti, from vineyards between Agliano and Rocchetta Tanaro. The rolling hills yield fruit with abundant aroma and fresh tension, ideal for a Barbera that remains both opulent and precise.

Vinification and maturation

After gentle crushing, the must macerates on the skins for one to two weeks to develop color, aroma, and fine tannins. The cuvée then undergoes a long fermentation and matures further in the bottle before release. This approach deepens the color, rounds out the structure, and increases the aromatic layers, while preserving Barbera's characteristic freshness.

Barbera, 100% from the Agliano-Rocchetta Tanaro area. Barbera is known for its vibrant acidity, abundant color, and ripe red fruit—the building blocks of an energetic yet silky-smooth style.
