The origin, grapes and craftsmanship behind this wine.

De Stefani Winery is a true institution in the Veneto region. Since 1866, they have been astonishing friends and foes alike with their astronomical wines. It was Valeriano De Stefani who began cultivating vines on a small scale. Today, over a century and a half later and four generations later, De Stefani plays at the highest level of Italian viticulture. Alessandro De Stefani is currently in charge of the day-to-day management. By planting the vines well and paying close attention, De Stefani's red wines have already made a great impression. So, it was time for a new venture: a Prosecco Superiore!

Prosecco is the Italian equivalent of Champagne. This beautiful sparkling wine has conquered the Dutch consumer over the past twenty years. The region where Prosecco is permitted to be produced is in northern Italy. However, the best Prosecco wines still come from the region around Valdobbiadene, also known as the Prosecco capital of Italy. De Stefani has been active here for a century and a half and therefore has access to the most beautiful and old vineyards. That's precisely why we are certain that this De Stefani Rive di Refrontolo will conquer the world.

A Prosecco wine of the highest quality. This makes our oenologists incredibly happy. It's an expressive, refreshing Prosecco where elegance and refinement take center stage. The aroma offers floral notes. You'll smell white flowers and lilies on a spring morning. The palate offers dry nuances with a hint of crisp Granny Smith apples. The incredible depth of this De Stefani Rive di Refrontolo Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore makes for a sparkling finish. In our opinion, it's the ideal aperitif, because everyone will fall in love with this De Stefani Prosecco.
