90 hectares of vineyards by Cecilia Beretta
The Cecilia Beretta wine line comes from the winery of the renowned Pasqua family from Verona. The Pasqua family plays an important role in the Veneto region and enjoys a great international reputation. The name Cecilia Beretta comes from Count Giuseppe Beretta's villa, built in the 7th century in Mizzole. He was mayor of Verona, an agronomist, and a local poet. Cecilia Beretta's goal is to recapture the strength and personality of the traditional wines of Valpolicella and Soave. And they succeed with flying colors. Since their launch, they have been showered with rave reviews. Cecilia Beretta's vineyards are primarily located in favored locations in Soave, Bardolino, and Valpolicella and currently comprise approximately 90 hectares. The soils are characterized by clay and limestone, the vines have deeply rooted roots, and the wines have an exceptionally fine minerality. This red wine cuvée is made from the Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara grape varieties. The grapes come from Veneto and have been rigorously selected. This red wine is produced using the Ripasso Superiore method, which means the grapes are first dried on drying racks. This results in a concentration of aromas. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 12 months in barriques. Finally, it is bottle-aged for another 6 months.Enjoy this rich Ripasso Valpolicella
The long wait is rewarded with a deep red wine with intense aromas of cherries, blueberries, and currants on the nose. This is complemented by notes of licorice and toast. On the palate, the Ripasso Valpolicella is rich, round, and smooth with chocolate tannins. A balanced wine that pairs beautifully with savory appetizers or risotto.Product details
