Italian wines from Valpolicella

Cecilia Beretta was founded in 1980 and has been active in the Italian vineyards for over forty years. The founders of Cecilia Beretta are none other than the Pasqua family. Winemaking runs in the blood of this Italian family. They own several wineries, the most famous of which bear their own family name. They are leading in Veneto, named after the province of the same name. The most beautiful part is the region just north of Verona, the Valpolicella area. It is therefore no coincidence that this is the area where Cecilia Beretta is located.

Cecilia Beretta's vineyards

Cecilia Beretta Winery is located in the small village of Mizzole, just north of Verona. The winery is named after an impressive 17th-century manor house in Mizzole, Villa Beretta. The Pasqua family owned vineyards here as early as the 1940s, but it wasn't until the 1980s that they decided to revitalize the vineyards. For several decades now, you'll find a wealth of delicious grape varieties typical of the region here. Think of high-flyers like Pinot Grigio, Corvina, and Garganega, as well as international names like Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

The most beautiful wine from Cecilia Beretta

Cecilia Beretta is known for its typical Valpolicella wines. The appellations are everywhere you look when you see Cecilia Beretta's selection. Their classic Pinot Grigio is definitely worth a try. But the Cecilia Beretta Brognoligo Soave and the Cecilia Beretta Lugana are also true gems. However, the crown jewels of Valpolicella are truly the Cecilia Beretta red wines. Cecilia Beretta Ripasso Valpolicella, in particular, achieves a high price-quality ratio. The cream of the crop is the Amarone wine, made from dried grapes, which gives the wine an incredibly concentrated character.
