The estate has become one of the region's top wineries, evidenced by the numerous medals its wines have won. It was founded as a small cooperative in the early 20th century. Several local winegrowers joined forces and pooled their resources. The success of this collaboration is still evident today. While yields are significantly lower than those of young vines, the resulting juice is far more concentrated and of higher quality. These grapes come from Bourdic's finest vineyards. The harvest for this Le Prestige Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon is carried out entirely by hand to select only the finest fruit. After vinification, this Bourdic red wine is aged for 18 months in small barrels, adding character and depth to the wine.
