The Magic Behind Montecillo Rioja Edicion Limitada

This exceptional wine is a harmonious blend of Tempranillo and Graciano. The Tempranillo grapes, with their 30-year roots deep in the Rioja Alta, are carefully selected. The Graciano grapes, sourced from the prestigious Tudelilla region in the Rioja Baja, add an extra dimension. Thanks to the chalky clay soil and the unique microclimate of the DOCa Rioja, with its mild temperatures and steady rainfall, these grapes have the perfect growing conditions. After careful fermentation in stainless steel tanks and patient aging in both new French oak barrels and a blend of French and American oak for 26 months, this wine is born. The two wines are then blended and aged for another six months, followed by 18 months of refinement in the bottle. The result? A wine worth every second of the wait!
