The origin, grapes and craftsmanship behind this wine.

Tasting Provence. Feeling California: When you open this large bottle of Bernardus, that's exactly the feeling you get. A large bottle of Provence Rosé from a Californian winemaker? It's not quite right, but this Bernardus Rosé Coteaux d'Aix en Provence 3 LITRE certainly makes that utopia a reality. Bernardus has sought out the best vineyards in Provence and has ensured that from now on, we can enjoy the finest Bernardus wine every summer. And the best part is: with this 3-liter bottle, you'll always have enough. Not only is a large bottle of Bernardus Rosé Coteaux d'Aix en Provence incredibly impressive to display on the table, but the bottom of the bottle won't be visible anytime soon. This 3-liter bottle can pour an impressive 25 glasses of perfect wine, making it ideal for a large gathering.

Our thanks for the Bernardus Rosé Coteaux d'Aix en Provence 3 LITRE go to Ben Pon. This Dutch businessman is the founder of Bernardus, a winery that has shaken up the Californian wine world. For over thirty years, we have been able to enjoy the top quality Bernardus has to offer year after year. After many great successes, such as the Bernardus Chardonnay and the Bernardus Marinus, it was time for a new challenge. This challenge was found on the other side of the ocean, in the far southeast of France. After all, it is in Provence that the world's finest rosé wines are made.

Bernardus has forged a lasting relationship with Château LaCoste. This beautiful winery, located north of Aix-en-Provence, is beautifully situated in the countryside. A whopping 125 hectares of vineyards, surrounded by almond and olive trees: the scenery is stunning. The vines for Bernardus Rose Coteaux d'Aix en Provence 3 LITRE are on average 20 to 30 years old. This is the perfect age to approach the highest quality. But ultimately, it's the taste of this Bernardus wine that counts. Well, it wouldn't be out of place on a balmy summer evening: think fresh red fruit like strawberries and berries. Soft, white peaches. Grapefruit zest. The characteristic spice note in the finish is, of course, also present in Bernardus Rose Coteaux d'Aix en Provence 3 LITRE. All the aspects of a perfect wine are present in this stunning Bernardus wine.
