The origin, grapes and craftsmanship behind this wine.

The Tramin Weissburgunder Pinot Bianco from Alto Adige is a superb example of the high-quality white wines this northern Italian region has to offer. Produced by Tramin's expert winemakers, this wine reflects the unique terroir where its grapes thrive – on chalky clay and gravel soils at altitudes between 250 and 550 meters. This geographic location, where the vines benefit from sunny days followed by cool nights, contributes to the development of the fresh, vibrant aromas that characterize this Pinot Bianco. Careful grape selection, followed by a gentle pressing, ensures that the grape's intrinsic qualities are preserved, resulting in a wine that honors its origins in both aroma and flavor.

Upon pouring, the Tramin Weissburgunder Pinot Bianco reveals a bright, straw-yellow color that visualizes the wine's purity. The aroma is an invigorating combination of white flowers, ripe pear, and subtle hints of citrus, which together create a seductive and complex aroma. These aromas are further enriched by mineral undertones, a direct reference to the gravelly soils of its origin. The use of steel tanks for aging preserves these fresh, fruity characters, giving the wine a wonderful expression of terroir and varietal that any wine lover will appreciate.

On the palate, the Tramin Weissburgunder Pinot Bianco is a paragon of balance and structure. It offers a fresh, almost crisp taste experience, its vibrant acidity harmonizing perfectly with the subtle fruity flavors of apple and pear. These are complemented by a light, almost velvety texture, creating a pleasant mouthfeel. The finish is long and clean, with an almost crystalline finish that refreshes the palate while simultaneously inviting you to sip again. This Pinot Bianco is an excellent accompaniment to light dishes such as shellfish and seafood, but also perfect as an aperitif. Its versatility and elegant character make the Tramin Weissburgunder Pinot Bianco an excellent choice for any occasion requiring a premium white wine.
