From vineyard to bottle

The origin, grapes and craftsmanship behind this wine.

The Paarl Heights Chenin Blanc, meticulously crafted in the lush vineyards of South Africa, is a true treasure among white wines. The grapes for this remarkable wine grow on sandy loam soils atop granite bedrock, the typical soil types of the Cape. What makes this wine so unique is the natural approach to viticulture: no irrigation is used, and due to the age of the vines, minimal crop management is required, resulting in a naturally limited yield. This results in a Chenin Blanc of exceptional quality, where only the first press juice is used and the juice ferments on the skins in stainless steel tanks.

The Paarl Heights Chenin Blanc offers a vibrant symphony of aromas and flavors that captivate the senses. With a crisp and dry character, this wine reveals zippy citrus aromas intertwined with a slightly honeyed character, resulting in a vibrant fruitiness on the palate. The careful balance with the crisp acidity and the added dimension from the prolonged contact with the fine lees give this wine considerable depth and a distinctive character.

The Paarl Heights Chenin Blanc is an excellent choice for a variety of culinary experiences. Whether it's an al fresco picnic or a refined seafood and poultry dinner, this wine adds an extra layer of refinement to any meal. Its fresh, fruity notes make it a perfect accompaniment to a wide variety of dishes, transforming every meal into a special occasion.

Behind every bottle of Paarl Heights Chenin Blanc are the talented winemakers Ryno Booysen and JD Rossouw, whose craftsmanship and passion for viticulture result in wines of exceptional quality. Located in the WO Paarl appellation, a region renowned for its excellent wine-growing conditions, this Chenin Blanc represents the best of South Africa. The combination of traditional techniques and modern insights ensures that every sip of Paarl Heights Chenin Blanc is an unforgettable experience, full of flavor, depth, and elegance.
