The winery is located on the Spier Estate. This modern winery is housed in one of the estate's 21 buildings, all dating back to the late 17th century. Spier's modern winemaking techniques ensure consistent quality year after year, giving you the same vintage every year. Winemaker Frans Smit is responsible for carefully overseeing all of this. He can certainly be proud of his wines! He has created several series to offer a suitable wine for every wine drinker. One of these series is the Signature Collection, a signature of the Spier Estate: this delicious Spier Chardonnay Pinot Noir rosé!
The salmon-pink color already looks very attractive and summery. The aroma offers sunny aromas of young red fruit with a light hint of spice. The palate is rich with hints of strawberry and raspberry, interspersed with a light citrus note and a pleasant spiciness. This makes for a flavorful, fresh rosé wine with plenty of power to pair with delicious dishes. We are huge fans of this delicious South African rosé.
