Biscardo

Buy or order Biscardo wine

One of the most famous wineries in Northern Italy, Biscardo Winery is inextricably linked to quality wines from Italian vineyards. The quality we know and love about Biscardo wines today is the result of hard work in the vineyards, which the Biscardo family has passed down from generation to generation.

The Italian wines of Biscardo

It all began at the end of the 19th century, in 1878 to be precise. Terenzo Biscardo, an entrepreneur in the beautiful cultural city of Verona, founded a winery. Modest as he was, he named the winery after himself: Biscardo. From Verona, Biscardo grew ever larger over the decades. After World War II, with the winery taken over by his son Luigi Biscardo, the winery's major expansion began. By making the right investments in vinification and bottling, Biscardo was able to begin exporting extensively to the rest of continental Europe.

The Biscardo wines are the best from Italy

Today, Biscardo is known worldwide as a renowned winery. The winery is still owned by the Biscardo family, with brothers Martino and Maurizio currently in charge of daily management. The winery is known for a wide range of affordable, high-quality wines. Most of its wines still come from Veneto, a large region in northern Italy. However, Biscardo has also had long-term contracts with local winegrowers in Emilia-Romagna, which lies further south.

Where to buy Biscardo wines?

After nearly a century and a half of craftsmanship, Biscardo wines are undeniably superb. Because their expertise is continuously passed down from generation to generation, Biscardo remains a reliable and enduring partner in the Italian wine landscape. Thanks to this expertise and past innovations, they can also command competitive prices for their wines. It's no wonder the world is crazy about the unique value of Biscardo wines. The wines are consistently good and always up to par. That's what we call everyday quality.

What is the best wine from Biscardo?

A difficult question, if you ask us. Because everything from Biscardo is more than worth the effort. Looking for a delicious red wine? Then try the Biscardo Enigma Appassimento. Prefer a sparkling white wine? Then the Biscardo Morena Bianca Lugana is a must-have in your wine cellar. Biscardo even has a popular prosecco in its range. The Biscardo Prosecco Millesimato is festive, aromatic, and always a big hit. But the crown jewel from the Biscardo cellars is perhaps the Biscardo Amarone Della Valpolicella, one of the finest wines from Veneto.
