Buy or order Calusari wine

A Romanian wine? Sounds good? Well, we can only say, give it a try. You'll be surprised and amazed. Because don't forget: Romania is an ancient wine country. Centuries-old tradition, combined with modern technology, has made Calusari wines simply irresistible. Want to buy Calusari wine?

The Calusari wines from Romania

Anyone truly familiar with wine history knows that Eastern Europe was the cradle of viticulture centuries ago. Make no mistake: the climate here is comparable to countries like France, Spain, and Italy, three wine-producing countries with top reputations. However, due to its turbulent and unstable history, commercial viticulture never really took off. Not only in Romania, but also in countries like North Macedonia, Moldova, and Bulgaria. Meanwhile, the political and social climate has been relatively calm for several decades.

The vineyards of Calusari

This led British businessman Philip Cox and his Romanian wife Elvira to establish the winery around the turn of the century. It is located near Timisoara, Romania's second-largest city, and close to the Hungarian-Serbian-Romanian border. Much work was done there, renovating the winery and modernizing the vineyards. It now offers a wide range of international grape varieties such as Pinot Noir, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, and Merlot. Thanks to the vineyards' nearly ideal location, each grape grows under ideal conditions, bringing out the best in each one.

The wines of Calusari

Whether you try Calusari Pinot Noir or Calusari Pinot Grigio, you won't be disappointed. The wines offer excellent value for money. Don't expect wines like those from Burgundy, Rioja, or Piedmont, but simply delicious, delicious, and simple wines that radiate in their simplicity. They need no nonsense or embellishments. They are perfect just the way they are. It's no wonder Calusari is the largest wine exporter in all of Romania, with a strong presence primarily in Western Europe.
