Buy or order Chateau Lauriga wine

For those who want something different. For once, not a standard varietal wine, but one who appreciates complexity. Who celebrates craftsmanship and admires unique grape varieties? Then choose Chateau Lauriga. A winery not for the everyday, but for those special moments. Moments you'll want to cherish forever. Just like the wines of Chateau Lauriga.

The Chateau Lauriga wines from Paul Mas

Château Lauriga originally began as an independent, highly successful winery. It was a picturesque family estate located in the Roussillon region, in the southernmost tip of France. The owner was the prominent Clar family, a mix of French and Catalan descent. However, for several years now, this magnificent estate has been managed by perhaps France's most famous winery. We're talking, of course, about Paul Mas. A truly colossal winery. Not only does this winery stand out in terms of quality, but the price-performance ratio is shockingly high.

Château Lauriga is located in the Roussillon region, which, together with Languedoc, slightly further east, forms the renowned Languedoc-Roussillon wine region. For a long time, it was the source of many French wines. However, these were primarily mass-produced wines lacking inspiration. Since the 1980s, however, winegrowers have invested heavily and innovated, developing this region into a true specialist in quality wines. This is also true of Château Lauriga, which stands out for its distinctive wines.

The vineyards of Chateau Lauriga

Grapes generally thrive in Roussillon. The location is perfect. First of all, the French sun is working overtime here: it's certainly warm. However, thanks to the proximity of the Mediterranean Sea, a cool sea breeze blows at night. This large temperature difference between day and night is a welcome change for the grapes and significantly stimulates the growth process.

Château Lauriga's vineyards boast many local grape varieties, in which the winery specializes. Think Grenache Blanc, Carignan, Grenache Noir, and Syrah. These exuberant grape varieties have a distinctive aroma: precisely what Château Lauriga stands for.

The exquisite wines of Chateau Lauriga

Complexity is the key word for Château Lauriga. The winemakers combine and blend with gusto. They strive to find the perfect combination. They strive to find the perfect balance. That's what we call craftsmanship. Just look at Château Lauriga Grande Reserva Cuvée Jean.
A lavish blend of Carignan, Grenache Noir, and Syrah. The exquisite rosé wines are particularly striking. The Château Lauriga Rosé is truly exceptional and essential for enjoying in the glorious sunshine.
