The large temperature difference between day and night allows grapes like Primitivo to thrive and develop optimally.

Geografica Winery is a unique concept. Originally a cooperative, it was established in 1961. During this period, many cooperatives emerged. Especially in the impoverished south, this allowed small winegrowers to join forces and achieve economies of scale. The cooperative is now entirely under the leadership of the Piccini family, whose goal is to create perfect wines. Each vineyard is strictly supervised. Geologists conduct research and vineyard specialists plant the vineyards. All this ensures that each grape is planted in precisely the right spot.
