This red Great Expectations Triangle is winemaker Jan's prestigious project, combining Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot grape varieties. Each grape variety thrives in the perfect climate and soil structure. Leave it to Jan, as he knows the tricks of the trade like no other. The grapes bask in the sun and the cooling breeze, resulting in a truly fantastic harvest. Each grape variety is harvested and vinified separately. This is followed by aging for a full fourteen months in French oak barrels. The result is a full-bodied and powerful red wine with the drinkability of South Africa.
In the glass, it shimmers deep red with a purplish black rim. The most beautiful aromas emerge from the glass, stimulating all our senses. Beautiful nuances of black fruit, blackberry, and cedarwood captivate our nose. On the palate, we taste the oak barrels and abundant fruit nuances of cherries, blackberries, and blueberries. The superb structure of this red Great Expectations Triangle lends a touch of spice and vanilla, perfectly rounding out this wine.
