It soon became clear that what the men had acquired had the potential to become a profitable project, and they began delving into viticulture. They wanted to gain knowledge from around the world and thereby elevate Kleine Zalze to a higher level. We can attest to the success of this endeavor. Because the men, in addition to their passion for teaching, also had a business passion, the winery achieved more than just a wine estate. Kleine Zalze was the first winery to combine multiple "enjoyment" activities: food, drink, accommodation, and relaxation, all in a beautiful location in South Africa.
