Laurant Miquel is considered the finest young winemaker in the South of France. With great passion and dedication, he produces superb quality wines. Respect for the land and nature is central to his work, creating wines that are always elegant and balanced. This Côte 238 Pech Gentille is no exception, offering both freshness and fruitiness.

Special wines from Laurant Miquel

Laurant Miquel's passion for wine was instilled in him from birth. The family owned vines in the Languedoc region under the Ancien Régime. In 1791, they acquired the Cazal Viel estate. Wines have been produced here for generations, and a wealth of experience has been passed down through generations. The family now knows the terroirs intimately. Their goal is to create wines that surprise and immediately appeal to wine lovers from the very first sip. And we certainly taste that in every sip of this wine. Their passion and dedication are evident in their wines, and thanks to the perfect terroir and the family's hard work, they bring them to market as exceptional wines. The Albarino grapes come from a vineyard located in the southern French Languedoc. The term "Pech" comes from the old historical name for "small hill." Laurent Miquel named this wine "Pech" because the vineyard is situated in a hilly area at an altitude of 238 meters. The altitude is also reflected in the name. The vineyard enjoys a wonderful climate, resulting in high-quality grapes.

The rich scent of Laurent Miquel Côte 238 Pech Gentille

The grapes are harvested at night to ensure all the aromas are preserved. During the pressing process, a selection of juices is made, and the must is clarified at a low temperature. Aging takes place on the lees in stainless steel vats. The result is a very elegant white wine. The aroma is rich with white peach and citrus fruit aromas. The taste is fresh and fruity with a lingering finish. Ideal as an aperitif, but also delicious with fish dishes.
