Buy or order Schlumberger wine
Schlumberger wines have become an integral part of contemporary wine culture. Wherever you go in the world, Schlumberger's Austrian bubbles are always present. The story begins in the first half of the 19th century. German Robert Schlumberger became interested in champagne. This led him to the renowned Ruinart Champagne house, where he learned the tricks of the trade. Until 1842, when he met the love of his life: a Viennese beauty.
The wine cellars in Vienna
To combine his two great loves: Champagne and his wife, he decided to establish Schlumberger in Vienna in 1842. He created exquisite sparkling wines in the impressive cellars beneath the Austrian capital, using the same method as Champagne: the Methode Traditionelle. What was remarkable was that native grape varieties played a significant role in Schlumberger's sparkling wines. For example, he managed to create an excellent sparkling wine from the Austrian Gruner Veltliner, which pairs beautifully with asparagus: the Schlumberger Gruner Veltliner.
Schlumberger's bubbles
The Schlumberger Brut, Schlumberger Prestige Cuvée, or Schlumberger Brut Rosë. All exquisite, impressive sparkling wines from Austria. While certainly not champagne, the similarities to the French bubbly are palpable. Schlumberger's bubbles are elegant, refined, and above all, incredibly delicious. As soon as the champagne cork leaves the bottle with a mighty sigh, the celebrations can begin.
Bubbles on Ice
After 175 years of craftsmanship, Schlumberger continues to evolve. The newest wines from this magnificent winery are the Schlumberger On Ice sparkling wines, which also come in a rosé version. These wines are slightly sweeter and specially designed to be enjoyed with plenty of ice. So, on a hot summer day, grab a bottle of Schlumberger On Ice from the fridge, add plenty of ice to the glass, and enjoy Austrian quality.
Large bottles of Schlumberger
What's better than a bottle of Schlumberger Brut? That's right, a big bottle. Because the house's most iconic wine also comes in a Magnum bottle: a whopping 1.5 liters! If that's not enough, you can always buy Schlumberger's biggest bottle: the 3-liter Schlumberger Brut! This is equivalent to a whopping 4 "normal" bottles, making it a must-have for a large gathering.
