It's a bit like a secret agent wine, "series M." The meaning of the "M" seems somewhat ambiguous. The "M" could stand for Merlot, usually the dominant grape in this wine, along with Malbec—also "M." However, that also depends on the vintage, because if the Cabernet Sauvignon is perfectly ripe and very successful, the percentage of this grape can be higher than that of the Merlot. "M" might then more likely stand for "medium-bodied." This is the lighter, more accessible wine from this estate, immediately drinkable and smooth. It is deliberately made softer, with fewer tannins and more direct fruit, so that the end result is ultimately deliciously rounded. Production is around 20,000 bottles.
