The development of a wine in a 1.5-liter bottle (Magnum) is different than in a 0.75-liter bottle. The Bernardus Chardonnay is a wine we can't imagine life without. When we think of Californian or American Chardonnay, we automatically think of Bernardus!

Chardonnay Bernardus in a Magnum bottle comes from the renowned Bernardus winery. Founded by Ben Pon, who was once known for importing luxury car brands into the Netherlands. A true bon vivant, he wanted to take on a new challenge, and that led to the Bernardus Winery. It remains a resounding success to this day. A winery that produces only premium wines. This Magnum Chardonnay is no exception. This "big boy" was aged for 11 months in oak barrels, allowing this white wine to develop its wonderfully full character.

Finally, we can pour this wine! The color alone is a feast for the eyes. The golden yellow color with its beautiful "oily" finish already suggests a lot! The nose is bursting with aromas of tropical fruits like peach, mango, and pineapple. There are also lovely, present notes of vanilla, cream, and a touch of spice. As for the taste of the Bernardus Chardonnay, where do we begin? As soon as we take the wine into our mouths, we notice a beautiful, full structure that typifies a good oak-aged Chardonnay from America. The flavor nuances we taste continue to reappear right up to the finish. Delicious, full notes of tropical fruit, vanilla, and licorice. A thick, robust white wine whose popularity, we can easily understand! How fun would it be to pour this Magnum with a large group?!
