The preferences of Erik

Favorite wine?

Dr. Burklin-Wolf Riesling Forst Village, this is definitely a new favorite to choose from.

Favorite Grape Variety?

Riesling, versatile, looks great in all those different villages in Germany. It's best not to let it get too dry.

Favorite Wine Region?

Champagne, truly magnificent. I could drink it all day long.

What don't you like in wine?

Too much minerality, too much acidity, grassy notes. So, New Zealand Sauvignon, no thanks.

What's the best wine you've ever had?

I think "someday" is yet to come, because Dom Perignon and Krug are still on that list.

Roederer Brut is high on my list.

I really liked Clos St.Jean Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

What are the real recommendations in your opinion?

My best recommendation, besides the wines I mentioned of course: tasting.

You'll never truly know what you like unless you try it. So, taste it, read it, and delve deeper. It'll become a lot easier as you go.

Of course, you can always ask us for help with wine advice.

and a few wines that people should try are:

This:

Dr. Burklin-Wolf Riesling Forest Village

This one, I think it's a beautiful house anyway. But I was especially impressed by the wine from this village.
And this one:

The Venoge Princes Blanc de Blancs

Champagne is truly one of my favorite things, and this Blanc de Blanc is probably the most impressive one I've had in a long time.
