Description
Orange or amber wine? Absolutely! A white wine with extra-long skin contact, which allows more flavor and color to be extracted from the skins. We've found a surprising orange wine from our Spanish producer, Dominio de Punctum, de 20,000 Leguas. Very accessible and friendly by orange wine standards, yet exciting and edgy. Upon pouring, it's immediately clear that this 20,000 Leguas Amber Wine Skin Contact will make for a special evening, thanks to its amber color with a slight orange shimmer.
What does an Orange or Amber wine taste like?
The aroma immediately reveals the richness of this white wine's contact with the skins, as we noted notes of tropical fruit, apricot, hazelnut, and orange peel. The palate is truly magnificent, full and aromatic, with refined tannins that make it very appealing, and abundant fruit notes of grapefruit, orange, and apple. The back of the tongue continues the spectacle with notes of hazelnut, tropical fruit, and dried lemon and orange peel. What a delightful wine!Product details
