For some time now, we've been proud to offer the magnificent wines of Arcobat. This was a secret dream of ours, one we'd been looking forward to for years. The stories we'd heard about Acrobat wines made us fall in love with them before we'd even tasted them. Now, the moment has arrived—with great pride—that we can now offer the Acrobat Oregon Pinot Noir in our webshop, and believe us: once you've taken a sip of this crown jewel, you'll never want anything else.
The wines of Acrobat
Acrobat is known for its sky-high quality. A winery in the top league of Oregon wines. Yes, you read that right. While most wine drinkers think American wines come exclusively from California, the opposite is true. It's true that the lion's share of California's vineyards comes from California, but neighboring Oregon also has a thriving wine culture. Because Oregon is located slightly further north, the climate is more similar to that of Burgundy. So you can probably guess that Pinot Noir is doing incredibly well here.
Acrobat Wines has vineyards in some of Oregon's most beautiful regions, with the Willamette Valley vineyards being the most notable. Because of the superb conditions in this valley, the grapes are of exceptional quality, making Acrobat wines incredibly popular with wine connoisseurs.

After harvest—only when the grapes are deemed full and juicy enough—the grapes are pressed and fermented. The juice is pumped over several times to emphasize its intensity. After aging in French oak for a full eight months (25% of which is new!), a rich bouquet emerges that would make many a Burgundy Pinot Noir envious. Vegetal notes of forest and mushrooms are clearly discernible amidst the generous red fruit. A soft finish with hints of chocolate completes the taste sensation of Acrobat Oregon Pinot Noir.
