This full-bodied Pinot Bianco from the Andrian winery is called Finado. The Andrian winery introduces their Pinot Blanc "Finado" as a timelessly understated white that suits almost any occasion and beautifully complements particularly mild dishes. The vineyards of Alto Adige are one of the few places where the Pinot Blanc grape variety thrives. Thanks to this location, it has a wonderfully rich and rounded character.

Italy's hidden gem

Cantina Andriano is one of the oldest cooperatives in the Alto-Adige region, founded in 1893. In 2008, they joined forces with Cantina Terlano and, under new management and a new winemaking team with Rudy Kofler at the helm, they began reducing yields and significantly increased the quality of their wines. Purity, finesse, a mineral core, and terroir-driven are all words that embody the wines of Cantina Andriano. Alto Adige is one of Italy's hidden gems. Nestled at the foot of the Dolomites, it is a region of incredible beauty and diversity, where the radiant sun blends with cool, breezy evenings. This contrast creates ample, expressive wines capable of achieving excellent ripeness while remaining incredibly fresh, elegant, and moderate in alcohol. The Alto Adige vineyards are located in a cool location, between 260 and 380 meters above sea level. The soil consists of clay mixed with dolomite. The grapes are picked with good acidity, resulting in a beautiful freshness. After hand-harvesting, the grape juice is fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled, cool temperature. The wine then ages on the lees for six months.

What does the Andrian Finado Pinot Bianco taste like?

The pale yellow Cantina Andrian Pinot Bianco Finado has an enticing aroma of ripe apples and pears. On the palate, this elegant Pinot Blanc is soft and harmonious with well-balanced acidity. We recommend Pinot Bianco Finado from the Andrian winery as an accompaniment to appetizers, fish, shellfish, savory meat dishes, and mild cheeses. It also makes a delicious aperitif.
