An award-winning addition to Ayala's extensive range. We're not the only ones who are big fans of Ayala Rosé Majeur Champagne. This rosé champagne recently received 91 points from Wine Enthusiast and 90 points from Wine Spectator. Ayala's long-standing commitment—after all, it's been around for 160 years—pays off with an expressive, complex, and above all, delicious champagne.

The composition of this beautiful champagne

Ayala's distinctive character is clearly expressed in this champagne. The grapes come from vineyards around Ay, all classified as grand cru or premier cru. Ayala Rosé Majeur is made with 50% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir, and 10% Pinot Meunier. To create a rosé champagne, only red wine may be added in the Champagne region. Of the 40% Pinot Noir in this champagne, 6% is still red wine, sourced from the finest crus from Montagne de Reims. The champagne is aged in the cellars for a full two years, while 15 months is the legal minimum. Ayala only leaves the cellars when the champagne is deemed good enough.

Soft notes of strawberry, raspberry, grapefruit, and white peaches tickle your nose. Your mouth is already watering, and you can't wait to take a sip. The beautiful juice provides a broad flavor palette, including red berries, strawberries, raspberries, lime, pomegranate, and a hint of mint. The mousse (bubble) is soft, almost velvety, and feels pleasant on the tongue.
