The origin, grapes and craftsmanship behind this wine.

With this wine, Deakin proves that Australia can produce not only beautiful still wines, but also fine sparkling wines. The Deakin Estate vineyards are located around Redcliffs, a small village in the southeastern province of Victoria. The vineyards are situated inland, where the Australian summer can be extremely hot. However, the grapes used for this Azahara Brut Deakin—Chardonnay and Pinot Noir—can withstand this heat well thanks to the age of the vines. The grapes also ripen beautifully thanks to the abundance of sunshine. Azahara Brut Deakin contains only the finest grapes grown in this part of Australia.

This sparkling gem from Deakin is a surprise. When we think of sparkling wines, we often first think of Champagne, Cava, or a fine Prosecco. A sparkling wine from Australia. No, until we had the chance to taste this wine from Australian winery Deakin, we didn't expect Australia to have the potential to create a flavorful sparkling wine. However, Deakin has proven otherwise. The blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir is somewhat inspired by its (very) big brother, Champagne. In this region of Northern France, champagnes have been created for centuries using, among other grape varieties, these grape varieties. This elegant sparkling wine is the ideal accompaniment for drinks, a birthday celebration, or simply because you're looking for a high-quality sparkling wine at a great price. Azahara Brut Deakin is a hit with everyone.

Time to crack open the Azaha Brut Deakin. A word of warning, because this Australian bubbly will leave you amazed. Don't be put off by the provenance of this gem. The aroma is elegant and aromatic. You'll smell the refinement of Deakin, with notes of apple, citrus, and a hint of grass. Fresh notes greet your nose. The scent of orange blossom, characteristic of Deakin, also wafts from the glass. Time to savor this classic combination of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Deliciously drinkable, with a remarkably refined mousse, creamy, and incredibly smooth. The fresh notes tingle your tongue. You'll recognize notes of white fruit, apple, citrus, orange blossom, and wet vanilla almond. The Azaha Brut Deakin is the perfect aperitif.
