The vinification and taste of Banfi Belnero Toscana

Belnero is made from Sangiovese grapes from the estate vineyards, located on the southern slopes of Montalcino. The vineyards are situated between 170 and 230 meters above sea level. Alcoholic fermentation lasts eight to twelve days at a temperature of around twenty-four degrees Celsius, with the final three days at thirty degrees Celsius. Malolactic fermentation then follows in French oak, where the wine is also aged for a longer period until bottling. The full aroma reveals aromas of cherries, raisins, a hint of chocolate, and fresh and dried plums. Truly delightful, what an inspiring aroma, and it promises something for the palate.
